My Shell Series started in high school when I was completely stumped on what to paint for my year 12 board. What began as a last minute idea for a stressed high school student, resulted in the breakthrough of my shell painting collection.
Since my year 12 hand-in, I have recreated each shell to a higher standard on a wooden board, which has been such a great indicator of the progression in my painting skills over the years! I have since had prints made of my three favourite shells, with more on the horizon.
My paintings were picked alongside one other artist from my grade, to feature on Selwyn
