In my spare time, I love to paint. My medium is acrylic on board. Painting is such a therapeutic outlet and one of my favourite productive pastimes.
I’m lucky enough to have grown up with talented artists all around me, which has guided me down the same path. My mother Kirsty Nixon paints New Zealand flora and fauna, and my nana painted still life. I feel like my shell paintings embody a nice combination of the two!
I’ve been in exhibitions and art galleries in the past with my fine line work, and am currently working to achieve the same with my paintings.
